\r\n Annual day was celebrated in the School premises. It was jointly organized by the secondary and the commerce section. All the students of XI commerce participated in Bhavai and Maharaas. The participants were very much thrilled about the programme. The programme began at 6.30.p.m.
\r\nDr. M.P.Chhaya – Director of Education, global Indian Education Foundation had graced the occasion as the chief guest. He congratulated everybody for the grand presentation. He expressed his views about the real education and over-all development of students through various activities. He emphasized on ensuring self-learning amongst the students.
\r\n\r\n Commerce section presented Bhavai. 27 students participated in Bhavai which was enjoyed and appreciated by everybody. 50 students participated in Maha Raas, which included various dances like Mashal Dance, Chhatri Dance, Ruma dance and Dandia raas. Students boldly performed Mashal Dance with burning Mashals. Bharatnatyam, Charidance, Marathi dance, Holi-dance, Tarana and Harmony of rhythm were other attractions of the evening. Around 8 -10 students of commerce section participated in harmony of rhythm. Mrs. Chaitali Korde presented vote of thanks.
\r\nThe programme was a grand success.
\r\n15th Dec’06 An orientation meeting was taken to brief about the picnic.

\r\n16th Dec’06 LECTURE BY “SWAMI PARMATMANANDJI”:
\r\n A seminar on “Education - A Cultural Perspective” was organized at V.M.Patel centre for excellence. ‘Swami Parmatmanandji’ was the guest speaker. Both teaching and non-teaching staff from all four branches of Baroda High School attended the seminar. The program began at 3:30 p.m. After lighting the lamp and formal welcome, Swamiji was invited for the talk. Swamiji with the help of illustrations and examples from day to day life explained the importance of teachers in lives of the students and how positive attitude can create positive learning atmosphere. Questions were invited from the audience. The programe concluded with National Anthem and light refreshments by 6.30 p.m. Event management was done by the Commerce Section staff members.
\r\n\r\n18th Dec’06 SCHOOL PICNIC TO ANSUYA:-
\r\n All the Students were beaming with enthusiasm in the morning at 7.30 a.m. We started our journey at 8.00a.m. in three buses. Journey up to Ansuya Temple was very pleasant. All the students danced & enjoyed in the bus. We reached there by 10.00 a.m. After refreshments, we went on banks of Narmda river and took dip in the water. Students played volleyball and other games too. They did boating also. We all enjoyed swimming in the holy river Narmada. Lunch was served in the afternoon. After lunch students again got busy with volleyball, badminton, antakshari etc. We started our return journey at 6 p.m. Hot Upma was served to the students during return journey. We reached to the school at 8.00 p.m. It has been a very memorable experience.
\r\n\r\n23rd Dec’06 SPORTS DAY:-
\r\n The school celebrated 5th annual sports meet on 23/12/06, Saturday. Teachers as well as students reported at 8.30a.m. in the morning for prior preparation of the sports day. Ground was set, stage was decorated and everybody was ready to welcome the chief guest, Mr. Jagdish Shukla- Hon. trustee and treasurer of Baroda Lions Club Education Trust. The event was blessed by Mr. Dhirendra shah, one of our PTA executive Member. The Programme began at 10:00a.m. with prayer. It was followed by march past, lighting the torch, oath-taking and declaration of sports meet open. Blessings were showered by Shri Jagdish Shukla.
\r\n
\r\n Various track events started at 10:30 a.m. and students of four houses cheered the winners of their houses. Ex-students were invited to participate in various events like Tug-of-war and relay race. Their presence and participation created the environment of enthusiasm. At 1:30p.m. all the events concluded. All the students including Ex-students were invited for refreshments.
\r\n
\r\n\r\n At 2:00 p.m. the prize-distribution ceremony was conducted. Mr. Jayesh Bhalawala, our chief guest couldn’t remain present due to unavoidable circumstances. Ms. Vaidehi Dave our ex-student and an international badminton player shared her experiences with her coach Mr. Bhalawala and conveyed best wishes on his behalf.

\r\n Hon.Trustee, Mr. Mayur Swadia was our guest of honour. He addressed the students & congratulated them for participation in various sports events. He declared the Sports meet closed. Mr, Jagdish Shukla, Mr.and Mrs.Dhirendra Shah and Mrs. Shubha Parghi graced the occasion. All the guests were invited to present prizes.

\r\n\r\nNidhi Vyas and Eshan Patel were declared Sports Girl and Sports Boy of the year with 26 and 18 points respectively.
\r\n
\r\nBoth Red house and Blue house were awarded Best Houses of the year with 76 points. Green house was declared as runners up house with 74 points.
\r\n
\r\n\r\n The program concluded with vote of thanks by our Dy.Head boy Jigar Ved.
\r\n Finally the guests were invited for tea & refreshments.
