ABACUS

Two students of class V – B, Mreugesh Joshi and Binniwale Ankush went to Chennai in November 2006, to participate in the National Level ABACUS
\r\n
            Both Mrugesh Joshi and Binniwale Ankush stood first and won the Gold Medal.
\r\n
\r\n
Four B.H.S. Activities
\r\n

The major event of this month was the ‘Four School B.H.S. Activity’. It is started on 30th November which was the first day. The students had been preparing for this event since a long time, and were eager to perform on stage.
\r\n
            It started out, being a grand affair, with the stage and pavilion tastefully decorated. Every detail had been taken care of and arrangements made to welcome children of other two Baroda High Schools, Trust members, many guests and parents.
\r\n
            On this day Shri Padmanabhbhai Desai was the Chief Guest. Sir addressed the gathering and blessed the students.
\r\n
            Head Mistress, Dr. (Mrs.) Sahasrabudhe Madam, addressed and welcomed the gathering
\r\n
            Vote of thanks was given by Shri Deepak Desai, Ex – PTA Member.
\r\n
            Observer, for the occasions was Mr. Afif Kadri, who noted beautiful comments for all the schools, appreciating and praising every school and performer.
\r\n
            On this day tiny tots of Std. I performed a Folk Dance. The tiny ones enthralled the audience! Dances from Bengal. Konkan and Rajasthan left everyone spell – bound!
\r\n
            Std. VII children dramatized an event of History (1857 to 1947). This was appreciated and liked a lot.
\r\n
            Academic Prizes (1st, 2nd, & 3rd) to the Rank Holders were given away by the honorable Chief Guest.
\r\n             Token prizes and certificates were also given to the participants.
