Baroda High School is an established institute since1961, has about 1600 students in the Pre Primary and the Primary section and about 800 students in the Secondary & Higher Secondary section. It is an English Medium, co-educational school managed by the Baroda Lions Club Education Trust and follows the Gujarat State Education Board Curriculum.

BHS prides itself for its teachers as they are chosen from among the best. Faculty members are highly qualified and richly experienced motivated and fully committed to excellence, imparting holistic education to the students, with new innovations.
Infrastructure - Library
The school has a very good library stacked with over 1,000 qualitative books, of all kinds like encyclopedias, fictions, comedies, biographies, reference books, etc. The library also consists of CD, audio, video cassettes that help the students to explore and facilitate the scholastic development. A reading hall with periodicals, magazines, newspapers accommodates a large number of students and teachers catering to their needs as a resource centre.
Art and Craft Room
Man and creativity have been closely associated since ancient times. At BHS a lot of emphasis is given on the appreciation of beauty to develop the aesthetic sense in the children. The school has professionals to teach art and craft which includes painting, sketching, origami, pot painting, etc. Children are given exposure and experience on hands. Our artists have won many prizes at different competitions.
Computer Laboratory
BHS can boast of a well equipped computer laboratory with latest technological tools to facilitate effective teaching learning process. The school provides internet broadband facility to teachers and students. The school has a good collection of software, educational and entertainment CD’s.
Music Room
The school’s music suite comprises a large music room with different musical instruments. The school has professionals to teach instrumental music like tabla, casio, bango, dholak, etc. After school hours special training is given to the students in vocal and instrumental music. Our music choir participates in various events, competitions throughout the year and has won many trophies and prizes.
Infrastructure - Classrooms
BHS ONGC has a beautiful school building surrounded by lush green trees; gardens intermingled with play ground, children’s park, hockey ground, open air theatre, etc. BHS, ONGC provides comfortable airy, spacious and bright class rooms according to students’ need.
Sports and Games
ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY.
Keeping this proverb in mind at BHS, Sports plays a vital part of the school routine in order to promote Good Health and team spirit besides channelising of energy. Students are taught both indoor and outdoor games like HOCKEY, ATHLETICS, FOOTBALL, JUDO, SKATING, TABLE TENIS, CHESS, etc. Sports facilities include all weather Hockey Ground, Skating Rink, Table Tennis Room, Football Ground, etc. Special instructors are present to teach, guide and personally ensure that children master the sports under safe supervision. Our students have remained champions in sports at District and State Level and at various interschool tournaments.
Gymnastic.

Gymnastics was started in the year 2008, under the coaching of Mr. Rajesh Solanki. In the year 2011-12, 20 students participated in State level & district level tournaments and 1 boy participated at National  Level. Our students bagged 12 gold medals, 12 silver medals, 6 bronze medals at District level and won 2 gold medals at National Level.

Skating

Skating was introduced in regular school since year 2005. Kedar Kulkarni is the coach. This year about more than 260 students have opted for skating activity. In the year 2011-12 our school students bagged total 18 medals at National Level. About 69 medals at State level and more than 100 medals at District level.

Judo..

Judo was started in the year 2006 in Baroda High Schoo, ONGC. Mayur Patel is the coach. In the year 2015-16, 25 students were the National Level participants, 37 were State level and 70 students were Distrcit Level participants. 5 students received Mahila Scholarship of Rs. 24,000. 16 students were the Khel Mahakumbh District and State level Cash prise winner of RS. 1,37,000. 2 students who are National medalist in Judo have received Shakti Doot scholarship award of Rs. 1,00,000 cash.

Football game.

Total 75 students opted for 'Football game' activity in which both, boys and girls are included. Football activity is carried on under the guidance of Mr. Prayesh Bhatt. For the first time girls are involved in football activity. This year (2012-13), we are going to take part in 'Suptro Mukherjee' under 14 years tournament ( Govt.), School games under 14 (Govt.), and coco-cola under 14 years tournament (Association).

Hall / A.V. rOOM
The school has a large and spacious Hall and a permanent stage, having a capacity to seat about 1,500 people that facilitates to organize different cultural activities, celebrations like Garba, Annual Day, Grandparents Day, Diwali, Ravan Dahan, etc.

The day school facility caters to the needs of working parents as well as the parents who are unable to cope up with the rising Standard of education. Children of such parents enthusiastically join their day school after attending the regular school.
Kitchen
Proper nourishment plays an important role in nurturing the growing children. Nutritious food and varied cuisines are prepared by a trained team of cooks and supporting staff in a hygienic and well equipped kitchen. The food is enjoyed by 500 students.

A dining hall is a place for consuming food. Our school has an airy and a hygienic dining hall for our day school children to have their food.
